The removable topper acts as a spring. To pick up food just squeeze the chopsticks and hold them together. Once you release your hand, the chopsticks will open as well. So simple!

I bought these for my 5 year old, as she was keen to learn how to use chopsticks. Although she was very excited to receive these and try several times, they are still difficult for her to use. The bunny is silicone and very flexible. This means that, whilst the back of the sticks (attached to the bunny) stay in place, the front end can move in any direction and can cross each other/go sideways very easily which frustrates efforts very much. I was hoping that the sticks would just go up and down and the ends easily meet each other. The chopsticks can also be removed from the bunny. Unless you ensure they are pushed in, they can fall out when in use. I think these would be better as intermediate training chopsticks and not beginner, as some skill is still required. I'll find some other training chopsticks and pop these in a drawer for later

Although these are chopsticks trainers for children, I actually bought two for myself. I am very happy that I did that because now I can confidently use chopsticks when eating. More so the package arrived timely, which I appreciate.
