I bought the construction plate and utensils for my 1st Grandson who is now 10 and doesn't eat off it anymore. He loved it and it certainly helped him learn to use utensils properly. For the kids who don't like their food touching this is also a great plate as it has the different compartments. We now have 3 more Grandsons two who live close to us and one who I will be buying a set for when he is a bit older. The one I have is a real hit with the 3yr old and the 2yr old is now eying it up. It certainly is a family heirloom and an instution at family dinners!
