Hot lunch tips
Pre-heat your jar by filling it with boiling water for 10–15 minutes prior to use.
Loosely place the lid on top while pre-heating and avoid opening during this time.
While pre-heating, heat your food hotter than you intend to eat it, as it will naturally cool during the day once food is transferred.
Empty the water and immediately fill with HOT food.
Fill the jar as full as possible. Empty space allows heat to escape more quickly.
Important Performance Tip: We do not recommend storing your Food Jar inside a lunch bag compartment that contains an ice pack. Prolonged exposure to cold elements will significantly impact performance.
Cold lunch tips
Pre-cool your jar by filling it with ice and cold water for 10 minutes prior to use.
Screw the lid on while cooling
Empty and immediately fill with chilled food.
Store away from heat sources where possible.
